What Will You Do in This Role?
The Move-In Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Sales and Marketing Coordinator in supporting the marketing goals of the community through effective planning of move ins, move outs, in-house transfers and other sales activities including all aspects of the move-in process starting at the time of deposit. The Move-In Coordinator role reports to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
- Timely completing of assigned in- service training assignments
- Follow the sales system to meet the sales and marketing benchmarks for senior living
- Manage move in paperwork for the residents and maintain files
- Coordinate the refurbishing, cleaning and inspection of apartments after move out and before move in with the community team members
- Ensure paperwork completion, apartment preparation, move scheduling, community support, resident orientation and housewarming party preparation
- Provide administrative support for the Marketing Department
- Represent the community and increase awareness through participation and outside events, professional groups, and community involvement as directed by the Sales and Marketing Coordinator
- Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing monthly prospect and/ or referral source activities and events as specified by the community marketing plan
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Sales experience, particularly in health care services is desirable
- Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
