What Will You Do in This Role?
As an Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
You will also be responsible for timely and accurate completing both the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate- Minimum Data Set, discharge, and admission tracking, etc. With direction from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement, you may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Must have on-call availability
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
